On to something less divisive...
I really need to read Anthony de Mello again soon. If you don't know him, he's a Jesuit priest who grew up in India. Because of this, his Jesus is much more mystical and contemplative. Generally, these things throw up red flags for us bible-thumping Christians who are busy defending ourself against science, much less mysticism. However, he's a good read that pumps a good bit of mystery back into God. You can find the book I was introduced to in undergrad, here. (its selected writings)
