While at Ginghamsburg I learned a lot, but Mike Slaughter made a great point. He said, "if you lose you notebook, at least make a commitment to these three things..."
To know what three things he said you'll have to wait til I'm not sitting on a plane. But the challenge meant a lot to me.
Whenever we keep Christ at the front of our lives it reminds you how far you can go if you just keep pushing. Don't stop, don't become complacent. Tired of Jesus call to sacrifice? There is that old (to me) saying, "you can sleep when you are dead"
well... You can rest when you are in heaven. For now, press the Kingdom of God into this world.
Thats what I got at Ginghamsburg UMC
