Help support a great friend of mine!

"Jam Out for Julie" Benefit Concert

featuring The Simone Durand Trio (simonedurand.com)
Friday, October 15th
7-9pm
Blackwell's Neighborhood Pub, Cahaba Heights, Birmingham, Alabama

There will be music, a raffle and a great way to have fun for a good cause. Julie has battled heart problems since age 15 when she had her first cardiac arrest. She became a symbol of courage and tenacity as she broke through virtually every limitation her doctors said she would have. Julie's heart finally began shutting down about 18 mos ago and she fought bravely to maintain a positive attitude while waiting for a transplant.

She finally received a new heart in June 2010. The costs of medical care and post-transplant care and medications is astronomical, even after insurance. This is a way for Julie's friends to get involved in her brave journey toward a healthy and happy life by donating to help with the cost of taking very special care of her new heart, now post-transplant.

If you cannot attend, but would like to make a donation online or by mail, see www.ntafund.org and search Julie Monroe.
