In the face of great turmoil we often retreat. C'mon - if you can't win, get out, right? That's not what happened after Jesus was killed by folks who didn't want any of it. Instead God doubled down on those who were broken. They were dusted off, set on fire, and sent out to spread peace wherever they could.
